During pregnancy, a baby's activity is not limited

During pregnancy, a baby's activity is not limited to just kicking. In fact, the baby's heart beats around 100-160 times per minute, and they will also practice breathing, swallowing, and even hiccupping.

Additionally, the baby's brain is rapidly developing during this time, with the formation of billions of neurons and synapses that will lay the foundation for their cognitive abilities later in life. All of these incredible processes occur during the nine months of pregnancy, culminating in the birth of a new human being.

So it's no surprise that a baby kicks around 3 million times during this time period, as they prepare for life outside of the womb.
